This montage is composed of three images. the image consists of tree branches becoming mirrored, then fused with a flooded field. the shapes formed from the mirroring I find visually intriguing.
This is another mirrored image. This time of a colourful sky at dusk and the stars of the night sky
similarly in this image I have used manipulation to enhance the clouded evening sky, with another image of stars.
In this more subtle example I have blended an image of flowing water into the background of the woods.
Water has been a common theme throughout my experimentation as it has many powerful emotive connotations. here I've used it over an image of the full moon. It looks almost like a reflection.
For this image I combined a photograph taken from inside a car with an image of the view from my flat's bedroom window. I then decided to mirror the image from the bottom.
mirroring a slow shutter speed image from the night sky, then mirrored horizontally. The tree silhouette in the foreground creates some negative space which in my opinion with the two moons above the picture takes on the quality of an owl.
In this montage it almost seems was if the stream bends round in a circle, and that the viewer is drawn towards the gap in the trees.
